Not every trip is a single point-to-point journey. Sometimes you need a driver for a morning of errands, an afternoon of meetings across the city, or a full day of events where you need to keep moving.
That's where hourly bookings come in.
What an hourly booking looks like
You book a driver for a set number of hours. They show up at your location, and for that entire window, they're dedicated to your schedule. Need to stop at three places in Sector 14, then head to Golf Course Road, then circle back home? No problem. You're not paying per destination, you're paying for the driver's time.
When hourly beats per-trip
Hourly bookings make more economic sense than multiple individual trips when you're doing 3+ stops in a half-day, when you don't know your exact itinerary in advance, or when you want a driver on standby while you're in a meeting and might need to move suddenly.
For busy professionals with unpredictable schedules, an hourly block is often more convenient and comparably priced to multiple separate bookings.
What's included in Chauffit's hourly model
Chauffit's hourly bookings are priced on the same base structure as regular trips. A base fare, distance component, and time component. But optimised for multi-stop or extended-window needs. You'll see the estimated cost before you confirm.
Practical tips for hourly bookings
Brief the driver at the start of the booking on your general plan for the day, even if it might change. Good drivers adapt well to live schedule changes, but a 2-minute briefing upfront saves time mid-day. Also, have the addresses ready in advance. It makes pickups faster at each stop.
Is there a minimum for hourly bookings?
On Chauffit, hourly bookings are subject to the same minimum fare structure as other rides. Note that a minimum fare of ₹249 may apply on very short durations. For anything over two hours, the hourly model is typically cost-efficient.
