BY AND BETWEEN
CHAUFFIT LLP, a Limited Liability Partnership incorporated under the laws of India, having its registered office at 124-125 Ph-VI, Udyog Vihar, Sector-37, Gurugram, Haryana, hereinafter referred to as the “LLP”, “Platform”, or “CHAUFFIT” (which expression shall, unless repugnant to the context, include its successors and permitted assigns) (hereinafter referred as “First Party”);
AND
[Driver Name], residing at [Address], holding valid government-issued identification (Aadhaar/pan card no.) and driving license (driving license no.), details as provided during registration on the CHAUFFIT platform, hereinafter referred to as the “Driver”, “Independent Service Provider”, or “Service Provider” (which expression shall include legal heirs, representatives, and permitted assigns) (hereinafter referred as “Second Party”).
The LLP and the Driver are individually referred to as a “Party” and collectively as the “Parties”. Exhibits ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ and ‘D’ are collectively referred to as ‘Exhibits’.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing, browsing, registering for, or using the LLP’s website, application, products, or services (“Services”), the Service Provider acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions stated in the present agreement.
If the Service Provider does not agree with any part of Terms stated in the Present Agreement, the Service Provider must immediately discontinue use of the platform or avail any of the Services.
As the present Agreement shall operate as a binding agreement between the Parties, in respect to the services of the Platform.
Your acceptance of the present terms and conditions shall be deemed to include Service Provider’s acceptance of the privacy policy available at https://chauffit.in/chauffit-privacy.html
1. Purpose
1.1 CHAUFFIT operates a technology-based mobile application and platform facilitating Users to book chauffeur-cum-driver services for driving the User’s own private vehicle.
1.2 The Driver desires to independently provide chauffeur services to Users through the CHAUFFIT platform subject to the terms of this Agreement.
1.3 This Agreement governs the Driver’s access to and use of the CHAUFFIT platform.
2. Nature of Relationship
2.1 The Driver acknowledges and agrees that:
- The Driver is an independent User cum Service Provider and not an employee, agent, partner, representative, or worker of CHAUFFIT;
- Nothing contained herein shall be construed as creating an employer-employee relationship, thereby, service providers are not entitled to any employee benefits;
- The Driver shall independently determine the manner and method of providing services;
- The Driver shall not represent himself/herself as an employee or authorized representative of CHAUFFIT.
2.2 The Driver shall be solely responsible for all statutory, tax, professional, labour, and regulatory compliances applicable to independent service providers.
2.3 The Driver shall not be entitled to any employment benefits including provident fund, gratuity, insurance, leave, bonuses, or employee compensation from CHAUFFIT.
3. Driver Eligibility and Onboarding
3.1 The Driver represents and warrants that:
- The Driver possesses a valid and subsisting driving license as required under applicable law;
- The Driver is legally competent to enter into this Agreement;
- All information and documents submitted during onboarding are true, complete, and accurate;
- The Driver has no criminal convictions or pending proceedings that may affect provision of services.
3.2 CHAUFFIT reserves the right to conduct verification, background checks, police verification, KYC checks, or document verification.
3.3 The Driver shall register himself and make an account on the Platform, in order to onboard and to provide services through the Service Provider’s App or the Platform.
3.4 CHAUFFIT may reject, suspend, or terminate onboarding at its sole discretion.
3.5 The Independent Service Provider hereby understands and consents to the collection, storage and sharing of Aadhaar Card, Driving License and any information extracted therefrom with Third Party Vendors and/or Government Authorities, for the process of onboarding and background verification.
4. Subscription and Platform Access
4.1 Subject to compliance with this Agreement, CHAUFFIT grants the Driver a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the platform.
4.2 The Driver shall require to pay subscription fees, onboarding charges, 40% commission charges, platform usage fees, or other applicable charges as communicated by CHAUFFIT from time to time.
4.3 CHAUFFIT reserves the right to modify subscription plans, commissions, incentives, pricing structures, or platform fees at its discretion.
4.4 Failure to pay applicable fees may result in suspension or restriction of platform access.
5. Driver Obligations
The Driver agrees and undertakes to:
- Provide services in a professional, lawful, safe, and courteous manner;
- Maintain punctuality and reasonable conduct with Users and well coordination with biker logistics;
- Comply with all applicable traffic laws, motor vehicle laws, and governmental regulations and ensure safety and security of user and its vehicle and in case of any damage to the vehicle, the sole responsibility is of driver;
- Sincerely takes training program organized by LLP, in adherence of applicable laws;
- Maintain confidentiality of User information;
- Ensure that his/her GPS location active while performing his/her service;
- Refrain from consuming alcohol, narcotics, or intoxicating substances while rendering services;
- Carry valid identity proof and driving license while providing services;
- Avoid reckless, negligent, dangerous, or unlawful driving;
- Ensure and confirm that he/she chooses the language of the service provider app or platform, best of his/her understanding;
- Ensure full and final payment of fee including additional charges, if any, from User (when user opted the mode of payment as pay in cash);
- Provide services with best of his/her abilities and as per industry standards, negligence in act/conduct, while rendering services shall not be acceptable by LLP. Any legal consequences, due to the act/omission of negligence, shall be solely borne by the service provider/driver.
The Driver shall not:
- Misbehave, harass, threaten, or abuse Users;
- Use of any kind of intoxicating substance i.e. Gutka, Cigarette, liquor, etc. or take any unlawful substance before or while performing services;
- Solicit Users outside the platform for personal business;
- Share login credentials or permit unauthorized access to the account;
- Engage in fraudulent bookings, fake trips, or manipulation of platform data;
- Use the platform for unlawful or illegal purposes.
The driver or service provider agrees that, in case of breach of agreement or policies by him/her or any irreparable/substantial loss/damage caused or likely to be caused by him/her, Chauffit shall have right to specific performance and injunctive relief, in addition to other legal remedies available with LLP.
6. Service Bookings
6.1 CHAUFFIT shall endeavour to allocate booking requests through the platform.
6.2 The Driver may accept or reject bookings subject to platform policies.
6.3 CHAUFFIT does not guarantee minimum bookings, income, earnings, or service requests.
6.4 The Driver acknowledges that Users shall provide their own private vehicles for the service.
6.5 The Driver shall duly notify the Chauffit on completion of the trip, any inconvenience faced by the Driver or third-party service provider or user of the platform, any unlawful or illegal act committed during the course of use of platform and/or any act/omission which the service provider may deem fit to notify Chauffit.
6.6 Service Provider may contact the Chauffit call center for the purpose of required assistance pertaining specifically to the Device, Service Provider App, Platform, etc.
6.7 The Driver on the receipt of confirmation of booking, will be notified with the necessary details of the Biker Logistic (third party service provider), in order to pick and drop off the Driver at the pick-up location of the User/customer. Subsequently, the Driver will be drop off to the pick-up location of the subsequent trip.
6.8 The Driver shall be drop off to his registered address at the end of his service of the day or his refusal to take subsequent booking via. Biker, only if he/she is more than 2 kilometers far from his registered address. And, in case of intercity booking, the Driver has to travel to another city (other than his registered city) for the purpose of dropping off the User, then in such case, he/she shall be reimbursed with the travel allowance up to the cost of public transportation or reasonable cost, for the purpose of reaching back to his registered address, only after completion of the trip.
6.9 The Driver shall maintain the confidentiality of the customer details shared with him, on the confirmation of booking. In case of failure to maintain the confidentiality or misusing or illegal use of the customer details, the Driver shall be solely liable for all the legal consequences.
7. Payments
7.1 Payments for completed services shall be processed through the platform subject to deductions including commissions, taxes, penalties, subscription charges, and applicable fees.
7.2 CHAUFFIT may revise payment structures, commissions, incentives, or payout schedules.
7.3 The Driver shall be solely responsible for payment of all taxes including income tax, GST (if applicable), professional tax, or statutory dues.
7.4 CHAUFFIT shall not be responsible for personal expenses incurred by the Driver.
7.5 In case, Driver received any payment via. cash or online intermediary, then driver shall deposit the whole amount to the bank account of Chauffit (details of the same, shall be pre-notified to the Driver, during his training program) (for the purposes of check and balance and proper auditing and accounting) and later on, he will get his share, as agreed and pre-notified to him.
8. Data Privacy and DPDP Compliance
8.1 CHAUFFIT shall process personal data of Drivers in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable laws.
8.2 The Driver consents to collection, storage, processing, verification, and use of personal data for:
- Onboarding and verification;
- Service allocation;
- Regulatory compliance;
- Payment processing;
- Safety and fraud prevention.
8.3 The Driver shall have the right to:
- Access and correct personal data;
- Withdraw consent subject to legal obligations;
- Request deletion of account and personal data.
8.4 Upon valid account deletion requests, CHAUFFIT shall delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period unless retention is required under law, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or regulatory obligations.
8.5 CHAUFFIT may retain electronic logs, trip records, KYC records, payment records, complaint records, or safety records where legally required.
8.6 The Driver shall maintain confidentiality of all User data and shall not misuse, disclose, copy, or distribute User information.
9. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification
9.1 CHAUFFIT functions solely as a technology intermediary platform.
9.2 CHAUFFIT shall not be liable for:
- Any accident, injury, death, loss, theft, or damage arising during services;
- Conduct of Users or third parties;
- Vehicle condition or road safety issues;
- Delays, technical failures, or booking cancellations;
- Loss of earnings or indirect damages.
9.3 The Driver expressly acknowledges that services are provided at the Driver’s own risk.
9.4 The Driver shall indemnify and hold harmless CHAUFFIT against claims arising from:
- Negligent or unlawful driving;
- Breach of this Agreement;
- Violation of law;
- Injury or damage caused during services.
10. Insurance
10.1 The Driver acknowledges that Users are responsible for maintaining valid insurance for their private vehicles.
10.2 CHAUFFIT does not provide insurance coverage to Drivers unless expressly communicated in writing.
10.3 The Driver is advised to maintain personal accident and health insurance at their own cost.
11. Account Suspension and Termination
11.1 CHAUFFIT may suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate the Driver account without prior notice in cases including:
- Submission of false, misleading, or forged information;
- Criminal conduct or police complaints;
- Unsafe or negligent driving;
- Misconduct with Users;
- Fraudulent activity;
- Violation of platform policies or applicable law.
In other case, with a prior notice of 7 days to the service provider without assigning any reason for the termination.
11.2 Upon termination:
- Platform access shall immediately cease;
- Pending investigations may continue;
- Outstanding liabilities and obligations shall survive termination.
11.3 CHAUFFIT reserves the right to withhold payouts pending investigation of fraud, complaints, or legal disputes.
12. Confidentiality
12.1 The Driver shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding:
- User information;
- Platform data;
- Pricing structures;
- Operational processes;
- Trade secrets and confidential business information.
12.2 The confidentiality obligations shall survive termination of this Agreement.
13. Intellectual Property
13.1 All intellectual property rights relating to the CHAUFFIT platform, application, software, logos, trademarks, and systems shall remain the exclusive property of CHAUFFIT.
13.2 The Driver shall not himself or in conspiracy with third party, copy, reproduce, reverse engineer, or misuse any intellectual property belonging to CHAUFFIT or third-party service provider.
14. Electronic Acceptance and Digital Consent
14.1 By clicking “I Agree”, “Accept”, “Continue”, “Join as Driver”, or similar electronic acceptance options on the CHAUFFIT platform, the Driver electronically accepts and executes this Agreement.
14.2 Such electronic acceptance shall constitute a valid and legally enforceable electronic record and signature under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
14.3 CHAUFFIT may maintain electronic logs, OTP verification records, IP logs, timestamps, device records, clickwrap acceptance records, and digital audit trails as evidence of acceptance.
14.4 The Driver agrees that electronic acceptance shall have the same legal validity and enforceability as a physical signature.
15. Force Majeure, Amendment and Assignment
- CHAUFFIT shall not be liable for delay or failure in performance arising due to events beyond reasonable control including natural disasters, internet outages, strikes, governmental actions, technical failures, pandemics, or civil disturbances.
- CHAUFFIT may amend the provisions of this Agreement and Exhibits annexed to this Agreement at its own discretion and shall notify such amendments to the Independent Service Provider.
- Neither this Agreement nor any of the rights, interests or obligations hereunder shall be assigned by the Independent Service Provider to any third party, without the prior written consent of LLP. CHAUFFIT may, at its sole discretion, assign the rights, interests or obligations hereunder to any person whosoever.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
- Subject to dispute resolution provisions, courts at Gurugram, Haryana shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
17. Dispute Resolution
- Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably.
- Failing amicable settlement, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
- The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Gurugram, Haryana, India.
18. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the complete understanding between the Parties and supersedes prior discussions, understandings, or arrangements.
19. Acknowledgement
The Driver acknowledges that:
- The Driver has carefully read and understood this Agreement;
- The Driver voluntarily agrees to all terms;
- The Driver understands the independent user cum service provider relationship;
- Electronic acceptance shall constitute legally binding consent.

Exhibit B – Commercial Terms Segment
Details of the following commercial terms will be informed by CHAUFFIT from time to time:
Description of Commercial Terms:
- Platform Subscription Fees for the use of CHAUFFIT technology platform (Rs.)
- Incentives
- Commission Payable to CHAUFFIT (Percentage): Shall be informed by CHAUFFIT from time to time.
Key Terms:
- Subscription/Platform Fees: The Independent Service Provider shall be charged a subscription/platform fee for the use of CHAUFFIT Portal/platform as specified in the pricing plans as set forth by CHAUFFIT. The subscription/platform fee is non-refundable, except in the event of a technical error or platform malfunction, as determined by CHAUFFIT at its sole discretion. CHAUFFIT reserves the right to modify the fee at any time. Any changes to the fee will be communicated to users in advance through CHAUFFIT’s website or via email or SMS. Continued use of the platform after such changes will constitute acceptance of the new fee structure. Any disputes regarding the platform fee must be reported to CHAUFFIT within three days from the date the fee was charged. CHAUFFIT will investigate and resolve any disputes in good faith.
- All payments due to the Independent Service Provider shall be made through NEFT/RTGS etc., as mutually agreed from time to time.
- Commissions & Incentives - Incentive (if any) may be given to the Independent Service Provider by CHAUFFIT from time to time. The Incentives shall be a percent of the Fare collection and shall be determined after taking into consideration all dues, fines, charges, interest, claims, costs, expenses etc. The Independent Service Providers shall be eligible to such Incentives upon qualifying the conditions set forth by CHAUFFIT. For the sake of clarity, both the Parties acknowledge and agree that the foregoing amounts are only for limited purposes of arriving at the value of Incentives.
- You authorize CHAUFFIT to make deductions from the Independent Service Provider Proceeds which includes the following:
(a) Tax Deduction at Source (TDS) as per the Income Tax Act, 1961, where applicable;
(b) any other amounts due and payable by the Independent Service Provider to CHAUFFIT as per Applicable Law.
- The Independent Service Provider acknowledges that, under Indian Goods and Service Tax (GST) laws and regulations, they are exempt from GST registration because their turnover is consistently less than the GST threshold limit. The Independent Service Provider also agrees to notify CHAUFFIT as soon as their turnover exceeds the predetermined threshold, obtains GST registration, and shares the GSTIN with CHAUFFIT. The Independent Service Provider is aware that if they are required to obtain GST registration, CHAUFFIT will deduct the Tax Collected at Source (TCS) from their payout and remit that amount to the GST department. The Independent Service Provider also agrees that CHAUFFIT is not liable for obtaining GST registration for them or filing their GST returns to receive credit for their TCS inputs.
- The terms in this Exhibit are subject to change and will be communicated to the Independent Service Provider via SMS/call to registered mobile number.
- The Independent Service Provider hereby agrees that discounts given to the users of the Portal, if any, will be decided by CHAUFFIT on a case-to-case basis which shall be informed to the Independent Service Provider by CHAUFFIT, and the Fee finally appearing on the Device configured by CHAUFFIT for settlement between the Independent Service Provider and CHAUFFIT shall be final and binding on the Independent Service Provider. The Independent Service Provider shall agree to the same without demur or protest.
- CHAUFFIT reserves the right to change the rates and payment terms between the Independent Service Provider and CHAUFFIT mentioned in this Exhibit at any given point in time, and the same shall be effective once notified to the Independent Service Provider.
- Notwithstanding anything contained in this Agreement, where CHAUFFIT has reason to believe that any charges/debits in respect of the Fee have been fraudulently incurred (“Suspect Charge”), CHAUFFIT will always be entitled to deduct an amount equivalent to Suspect Charge from the Subscription Amount or in the event of insufficient Subscription Amount, CHAUFFIT will be entitled to require the Independent Service Provider to remit the Suspect Charge in cash with CHAUFFIT.
- Credit Limit: The Independent Service Provider shall be allowed an amount of Rs. 500 as the Credit Limit on CHAUFFIT platform. “Credit Limit” means allowable outstanding receivables of CHAUFFIT from the Independent Service Provider. The Service Provider shall ensure that the Credit Limit shall not exceed Rs. 500 at any point in time. However, CHAUFFIT shall at its sole discretion change the allowable Credit Limit for the Independent Service Providers from time to time and shall notify the same to the Independent Service Provider.
- CHAUFFIT shall notify the Independent Service Provider as soon as the Credit Limit is reached. Once, the Credit Limit exceeds the above specified limit, the Account will become inactive without any further notification. The Independent Service Provider will not be allotted any further Bookings till the Independent Service Provider pays the outstanding amount exceeding the specified Credit Limit. The Independent Service Provider can pay the outstanding amount via payment gateway enabled in Service Provider App.
- Settlement: Pursuant to any settlement (“Settlement”) that the Independent Service Provider is required to make with CHAUFFIT, under the terms of this Agreement, whether for a breach of this Agreement and/or the or otherwise, CHAUFFIT shall send a report of the Settlement by short message service (SMS) / email / post, giving full details of the amounts and reasons thereof, forming part of the Settlement, to the Independent Service Provider. The Independent Service Provider shall make payment of the amounts mentioned in the Settlement to CHAUFFIT within 7 (seven) days from the date of receipt of such Settlement details. If the Independent Service Provider fails or refuses to make payment in respect of such Settlement within such seven 7 (seven) days, CHAUFFIT shall have the right thereafter without any reference to the Independent Service Provider, to deduct the amounts mentioned in the Settlement details from the Subscription Amount. If the Subscription Amount is insufficient to meet the Settlement amount, then the balance shall be recoverable forthwith from the Independent Service Provider by CHAUFFIT.
Exhibit C – Eligibility Criteria
- The Independent Service Provider must be competent to contract within the meaning of the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
- The Independent Service Provider must have a ‘Reserve Bank of India KYC compliant’ bank account.
- The Independent Service Provider must not be convicted of any offence for the preceding 10 years.
- The Independent Service Provider must be a man/woman of good repute and character and must never have been convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude and that no warrant, summons, FIR or any other process must have been initiated against or issued in the Service Provider’s name by any court of law, Governmental authority or law enforcement agency. Further, no proceeding must be pending against the Independent Service Provider regarding and nor should he/she have been convicted of:
(a) driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol; or
(b) any cognizable offence under the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, including fraud, sexual offences, use of a motor vehicle to commit cognizable offence, or of any crime involving property damage, theft, acts of violence, or acts of terror.
- The Independent Service Provider must have identity proof and driving license as required under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and the rules made thereunder
OR
The Independent Service Provider must provide identity proofs and driving license in respect of the drivers proposed to be used for the Driver Services and as required under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and the rules made thereunder.
Exhibit D – Zero Tolerance Policy
The Independent Service Provider shall strictly adhere to the Zero Tolerance Policy (“Policy”), which may be amended from time to time. Any changes to this Policy will be communicated to the Independent Service Provider via SMS or email. A breach of the Policy will result in fine consequences, as determined by Chauffit. The Policy includes, but is not limited to, the following provisions:
- Asking for tips: The Independent Service Provider shall not proactively request tips from the User/Customer. Further, Independent Service Provider shall not pressure the User/Customer for change and shall ensure that sufficient change is available at all times.
- Personal hygiene: Independent Service Provider shall maintain personal hygiene and wear neat CHAUFFIT uniform & badge (if provided by CHAUFFIT) at all times during duty hour.
- The Independent Service Provider shall refrain from making any fake or missed calls to the Customer’s contact number. The Independent Service Provider should only give a call to the User/Customer informing the User/Customer about his arrival at the destination. Independent Service Provider shall not make unwarranted use of the User/Customer contact details after the Service has been rendered.
- Independent Service Provider shall keep his/her mobile ‘ON’ while he is logged into the CHAUFFIT Portal and shall receive every call of the User/Customer.
- Rude Behaviour with female Customer: Independent Service Provider shall not under any circumstance argue with the Customer/use abusive words/raise his voice tone while talking to the User/Customer. Independent Service Provider shall comply with the instructions given by User/Customer as well as by CHAUFFIT Call Centre.
- Independent Service Provider shall not reject the booking on his own at the time of allotment under any circumstances (unless permitted by Chauffit).
- Once a booking has been accepted, Independent Service Provider shall not reject a booking and shall not switch off his mobile under any circumstances.
- Device Misuse: Independent Service Provider shall ensure that the Device shall not be misused in any ways.
- Independent Service Provider shall not consume or be under the influence of alcohol or narcotic substances while logged into the CHAUFFIT Portal.
- Abusive or discriminatory Independent Service Provider: Independent Service Provider should not do anything like abusing the Customer, talking to Customer or any such behaviour which shall make the Customer feel uncomfortable while providing the Service. Independent Service Provider should not discriminate against User/Customer for any reason, including on the basis of sex, race, caste, creed, religion, disability or nationality.
- Extra Ordinary Circumstances: Any instance of Independent Service Provider behaviour that directly or indirectly impacts the Company’s “Brand Image” shall be considered a breach of this Policy.
In addition to the aforementioned clauses, Independent Service Provider providing Driving Services shall also comply with the following:
- Wasting Customer’s Time: Independent Service Provider shall not make any Personal stops during the journey.
- Customer Service: Independent Service Provider shall greet Customers both at pick up and drop. Service Provider shall manage the luggage (both at pick-up and drop point).
- Vehicle Cleanliness: Independent Service Provider shall keep the Customer Vehicle clean during the trip duration.
- Disturbing Customer: Independent Service Provider shall not play loud music (above mid-level of the stereo), use earphones, unnecessarily blow horn, or proactively engage into a personal conversation with the Customer. Any form of unpleasant behaviour with Customers is strictly prohibited.
- Independent Service Provider shall not smoke, chew tobacco, pan masala or consume any food items inside the Vehicle or while a ride is in progress.
- The Independent Service Provider shall be well versed with the routes. The Independent Service Provider shall not take any long route when there is another short route known to him for reaching the destination. The Independent Service Provider are not expected to halt at several places during the journey due to lack of knowledge of the routes.
- Delay In Pick-Up: Independent Service Provider shall arrive at the pickup point before the scheduled time and inform the Customer of their arrival.
- Independent Service Provider shall not deliberately park the vehicle in a ‘non-network’ area while the Customer is away for personal matters.
- Mobile Phone Usage: Independent Service Provider shall not use mobile phones (unless for emergency purposes) while driving. This includes but not limited to SMS, video calls, voice, MMS and downloading. However, this shall not apply in case of calls from CHAUFFIT representatives and the Customer.
- Reporting To CHAUFFIT: Independent Service Provider shall not provide false information about Vehicle’s position to the CHAUFFIT representative. Independent Service Provider shall not report meter readings incorrectly. Driver shall provide opening and closing readings of the odometer on time as and when such reading is required to be provided by the CHAUFFIT representatives
- Rash Driving: Independent Service Provider shall not exceed the speed limit of:
i. 50 Kms per hour within the city;
ii. 60 Kms per hour on state highways; and
iii. 80 Kms per hour on National highways.
iv. If a lower speed limit is prescribed for a specific road, the Independent Service Provider shall adhere to the lower limit. Sudden braking and sharp turns that inconvenience the Customer must be avoided.
- Driving License (DL): Independent Service Provider shall carry a valid driving license and all relevant documents at all times while on duty with CHAUFFIT.
- The Independent Service Provider shall not sleep in the Customer Vehicle without the consent of the Customer.
- Traffic Rules: Independent Service Provider shall obey all traffic rules including traffic signals and shall always keep all statutory documents. Independent Service Provider shall wear seat belt at all times while driving.
- Driver lying or completing service in bad-faith: Independent Service Provider shall not misrepresent and manipulate routes, duty slips or other information to increase the fare.
- Rude behaviour/Customer inconvenience: Independent Service Provider should end the trip in the middle of the journey even if any misunderstanding or verbal fights happen between the Customer and the Independent Service Provider. If Vehicle gets breakdown, he should follow the instructions provided by the Customer for further steps.
- Maximum Weight: The Independent Service Provider shall not overload the vehicle beyond the manufacturer’s maximum specified weight.
- Medically Fit: The Independent Service Provider shall not operate the vehicle if they are medically unfit or if health conditions will impact the driving.
- Unauthorized Goods or Persons: Independent Service Provider shall not accept any bookings for unauthorized purpose or persons. If such a situation arises, the Independent Service Provider can intimate CHAUFFIT and cancel the bookings.
